We started our journey to the Milky Way. On Friday, The Little Bees from Brașov, Romania, learnt about the Milky Way, the Solar System, theplanets and satelites and the distances between them. More to come :)

Experiment 2 - Poland.

Material List:

1. two balloon
2. two narrow necked glass bottles
3. a pan of hot water
4. a pan of ice water

Procedure:

Take the balloons and stretch it gently over the lip of the  bottles. Place the bottle into the pan of hot water and let it stand for a few minutes. To reverse the outcome, place the bottle into the pan of ice water and let it stand for a few minutes.Observe.

This activity demonstrates that the air inside the  bottle expands when heated causing the air molecules to move faster and get farther apart. This is what causes the balloon to inflate. Warm air is less dense than cold. Since warm air takes up more space than the same amount of cold air it makes the balloon inflate.

Today we read information about the Sun. Some of us knows a lot about the Universe, so we have go many experts in our class.
